http://www.futuremark.com/benchmarks/3dmarkvantage/introduction/

after the entire trial benchmark, it will give you a number which represents your epic your rig is.

If you don't already own the full version, you can get a trial key after installing it.

mine comes in at a pitiful score of:

3DMarkvantage - P1452 3DMARKS

CPU Score = 8709

GPU Score = 1136

3DMark06 Score - 4152

SM 2.0 Score = 1796

SM 3.0 Score = 1604

CPU Score = 1470

seppuku!!!

I've already started saving money though, I'm gonna save up like $1200-1300 and do a real build. lol

right now my systems specs are:

AMD Athlon 64 x2 2.01GHz Dual-Core processor - Vista experience rating says the processor is whats holding the system back the most.
XFX nVidia GeForce 9500 GT 1GB graphics card
4GB of DDR2 PC2 5400 RAM
Ultra LSP750 750W Power Supply
250GB Seagate Hard Drive
750GB Western Digital Caviar SE Hard Drive

It was a Dell Inspiron 531 when I got it so it still has the stock motherboard. Keeps me from being able to over clock or anything. But the motherboard and CPU is the only thing in the system I haven't replaced. Even changed the case with a cheaper aluminum gaming case.

So I gotta keep saving for my new build I already grabbed a hard drive on sale from Newegg.com

its a 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black hard drive with 32Mb of cache.

so I plan on using my 250 or getting another Hard drive to run my OS and gonna put the two 750 drives in RAID 1 for storage.

Might try to pick up another 250 drive and then run the OS off the 250 drives in RAID 0

as of now I have the case, mobo, hard drive, optical drive, and cables. I just need the cpu ram and video card and I can start putting it together.

stats are gonna be:

Case: Cooler Master Storm Scout

PSU: Ultra LSP750 750W

Motherboard: MSI 790fx-gd70

Video Cards: two XFX Radeon HD 5770s in crossfire, upgradeable in the future too as the 790 mobo supports quad crossfire.

CPU: AMD Phenom ii x6 1055t 2.8GHz, Hexa Core. With right cooling down the road can easy OC to 4GHz

RAM: 4GB of G.Skill ECHO DDR3 1600. The 790 mobo supports up to 16GB so will upgrade down the road.

Hard Drive/s: 250GB Seagate for main drive and two 750GB Western Digital Caviar Black drives in RAID 1 for storage.
