Thought I'd share this since its not 'technically' supposed to be previewed in theatres until November-December.
Its a good 4-5 minutes long. It actually looks a hell of alot better than I expected it to be. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/Poniverse/news/?a=20833

The costumes are horrible, and Kat Dennings needs to go away. Also, I don't like the camera angles they're using. Other than that it could be ok.

Everyone except Thor looks like they're coming out of a 90s Batman movie. I really think the whole "science and magic are the same here" thing is going to kill it for me.

oh btw I've been meaning ask you Cap what do you think of this...

"We're sort of putting a slightly different spin on Steve Rogers," said Joe Johnston, "He's a guy that wants to serve his country but he's not a flag-waver. We're reinterpretating sort of what the comic book version of Steve Rogers was."

"He wants to serve his country, but he's not this sort of jingoistic American flag-waver," Johnston added. "He's just a good person. We make a point of that in the script: Don't change who you are once you go from Steve Rogers to this super-soldier, you have to stay who you are inside, that's really what's important more than your strength and everything. It'll be interesting and fun to put a different spin on the character and one that the fans are really going to appreciate."

is this a good or bad thing?

Bad. His whole deal is he fights for what the American dream stands for in the 40s. Without the "flag waver" he's just a guy with super powers and nothing to rally to.

**sigh** agreed. Thanks for your input, I was wondering if anywhere in the depths of your Cap collection does he ever hide that fact that he's an American...hence Hollywood destroying the origin of the story.

There were 2 times he quit representing America. When he gave up the name Captain America for a short while in the 70s to become Nomad, the man without a country. Then a few years later the president told him to do something and he said no, so they took the name from him and he was a fugitive that went by the name of USAgent. But he still fought for the American dream while he was USAgent.
