| The costumes are horrible, and Kat Dennings needs to go away. Also, I don't like the camera angles they're using. Other than that it could be ok. | |

| Everyone except Thor looks like they're coming out of a 90s Batman movie. I really think the whole "science and magic are the same here" thing is going to kill it for me. | |

| oh btw I've been meaning ask you Cap what do you think of this...
"We're sort of putting a slightly different spin on Steve Rogers," said Joe Johnston, "He's a guy that wants to serve his country but he's not a flag-waver. We're reinterpretating sort of what the comic book version of Steve Rogers was."
"He wants to serve his country, but he's not this sort of jingoistic American flag-waver," Johnston added. "He's just a good person. We make a point of that in the script: Don't change who you are once you go from Steve Rogers to this super-soldier, you have to stay who you are inside, that's really what's important more than your strength and everything. It'll be interesting and fun to put a different spin on the character and one that the fans are really going to appreciate."
is this a good or bad thing? | |

| Bad. His whole deal is he fights for what the American dream stands for in the 40s. Without the "flag waver" he's just a guy with super powers and nothing to rally to. | |

| **sigh** agreed. Thanks for your input, I was wondering if anywhere in the depths of your Cap collection does he ever hide that fact that he's an American...hence Hollywood destroying the origin of the story. | |

| There were 2 times he quit representing America. When he gave up the name Captain America for a short while in the 70s to become Nomad, the man without a country. Then a few years later the president told him to do something and he said no, so they took the name from him and he was a fugitive that went by the name of USAgent. But he still fought for the American dream while he was USAgent. | |
